OBITUARIES Emma (Hebenstreit) Herzy, 91, of New Britain, died Thursday at the Andrew House. Born in New Britain the daughter of the late Anton and Mary (Gombotz) Hebenstreit, she was a life long resident. Along with her late husband, Charles Herzy, they owned and operated Browns�s Market in New Britain for many years. Prior to Brown�s Market, she had been employed as a practical nurse. A lifelong parishioner of St. Peter�s Church, she also belonged to the Ladies Guild of the church. Mrs. Herzy is survived by her daughter Irene and her husband William Spring of Southington, her son Charles and his wife Jackie Herzy of Westbrook; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Church 98 Franklin Sq. New Britain, CT 06051. The Herzy and Spring families would like to thank the staff of Andrew House for all the loving care over the past two years given our mother, especially Anna, Elaine, Nina and Ursula.
