Obituary of Rachel Paradis

PARADIS: Rachel (Marquis) Paradis, 77, widow of Joseph A. Paradis, of New Britain, died Friday March 30, 2007. Born in St. Agatha, ME., she had lived in New Britain most of her life and prior to her retirement, was employed at the former Emhart Manufacturing Co. A loving Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, she is survived by her children, Joseph L. and Daniel P. Paradis, both of Northampton, MA, her daughters Rena M. Paradis of Bristol, Charlene Rayes and her husband of Sam of Portmouth, N.H., Doreen Legaspi and her husband Robert of New Britain, Lorraine Tino and her husband Steven of San Diego, CA., 2 sisters, Jeanette Manzo and Bernadette Doyon, both of FL, 2 brothers Gilbert Marquis of Boston, MA, and Camille Marquis of New Britain, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Aurelie Cunningham. Funeral services with burial in St. Mary�s Cemetery, New Britain will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial calling hours will be Monday, 4 - 7 at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain.
