OBITUARIES Nikodemus Redler, 88, of New Britain, died Friday Night at home. Born in the Ukraine, Russia, he lived most of his life in New Britain was the husband of Rosa Schulz. He was employed by Berlin Steel retiring about twenty five years ago and was a member of St. Peter Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters Rita Redler and her husband Eugene Slason of Southington, Ludmilla Rasten and her husband Alfred Rasten of Southington, and Ellie DelVecchio and her husband Robert Delvecchio of Canton; nine grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Church 98 Franklin Sq. New Britain, CT 06051.
