OBITUARIES Gerard L. Levesque, 79, of New Britain, died Saturday at an area convalescent home. Born in Frenchville, Maine, he lived all of his adult life in New Britain and was the husband of the late Loretta (Desjardins) Levesque. He was employed as a carpenter with the local 24 union, a member and past officer of the St. Jean the Baptist Society and was a parishioner of St. Peter�s Church. Mr. Levesque is survived by a son Leo and his wife Mary Levesque of Wallingford two daughters Lorraine Levesque of New Britain and Claire Levesque of Meriden, a grandchild David Vincent Levesque of Clearwater FL, a brother Claude Levesque of Medford, NJ, his long time companion, Jean Labrecque; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter Church, New Britain. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor�s choice.
