Obituary of Mary Dorsey

OBITUARIES Mary A. (Baloga) Dorsey, 87, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at Bristol Hospital on Friday Jan. 12, 2007. A lifelong resident of New Britain she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Tokar) Baloga also of New Britain. She attended local schools and was a former employee of North & Judd Manufacturing where she developed and grew many life long friendships. She was also an employee of Raphael�s Department Store and the Fafnir Bearing Co. of New Britain before retiring in 1981. She was a member of the UAW local 133, and the Ladies Guild of the former All Saints Church. She held passion for dancing which is how she met her beloved husband Edward J. Dorsey with whom she now rejoins and shares with him the peacefulness of the Lord. Besides her husband she was also predeceased by two sons Richard and Edward Dorsey. Mrs. Dorsey is survived by her two youngest sons two sons Raymond and his wife Teresa Dorsey and Ronald and his wife Maryann Dorsey all of Berlin. She also leaves behind her brother Joseph Balogna of Southington. Mary is survived by her many grandchildren: Ricky, Lisa, Tanya, Bridgette, Kenneth, Thomas, Jodi Ann, Noell, Jared and Ashley. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and many wonderful friends who loved her unconditionally especially Angie, Rita and Nellie. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph�s Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
