OBITUARIES Concetta C. (Spano) Konicki, 85, of Berlin, died Thursday at an area convalescent home. Born in Plantsville, the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Badolato) Spano, she lived most of her life in New Britain and Berlin. She had been employed at the former Casa Loma Restaurant and Mother�s Restaurant in Berlin for many years. A member of St. Paul�s Church, St. Ann Society and the ladies guild of St. Paul�s Church she was a former member of St. Ann�s Church in New Britain. Concetta is survived by her daughter Maryann Chadukiewicz of Berlin, two sons Anthony and his wife Sandra Leone of San Benito, Robert Konicki of New Britain; her grandchildren Michael and Joseph Chadukiewicz, Eugene, Rhonda, Caroline, Amanda, Sharon and Andrea; three great grandchildren; her brother Vincent Spano and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ferdinand Konicki and her brother Angelo Spano. Funeral services will be held on Saturday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul�s Church Kensington. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery New Britain. Visitation will be Today from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the George Bray Cancer Center 100 Grand St. New Britain, CT 06050.
