OBITUARIES Christian H. Morin, Sr., 75, of New Britain, died Monday at home after a long illness. Born in St. John, Maine, the son of the late Fred and Nellie (Pelletier) Morin, he lived most of his life in New Britain and worked for Pratt & Whitney many years, retiring in the mid 1980�s. He was a Korean War veteran, having served in the Marines. A parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Church, he also belong to the St. John the Baptist Society and the Franco American War Veteran�s. Mr. Morin is survived by his wife Lorraine (Therrien) Morin, two sons Mark and his wife Lynne Morin of East Berlin, Christian Morin, Jr. and his wife Diane of Manchester, a daughter Carol and her husband James Smith of Daytona, FL, his grandchildren Christian Morin, III, Ryan Morin, Amy Morin, Sabra Morin, Richard May, Desiree Ashburn, Amanda Morin, and Shelby Morin; a great grandson Wilfredo Justinia; two sisters Kate Voisine of Portland, ME, Lee Day of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a brother Eldrick Morin of Portland, ME, two sisters in law Yvette Breton of Newington, Noella Martel of Bristol and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Evangelist Church (corner of East St. and Newington Ave.). Burial with military honors will follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
