Obituary of Barbara Day

OBITUARIES Barbara D. (Jurewicz) Day, 76, of Berlin, died Sunday at the Hospital of Central CT, New Britain. Born in Newington, the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Kayeski) Jurewicz, she lived most of her life in New Britain. She was the wife of the late Whitney L. Day, who died Feb. 5, 1973. Mrs. Day had been employed at the City Hall in New Britain and at the New Britain Police Department. Barbara is survived by her son Gregory M. Day of Attleboro, MA, her daughter Leslie Day of Coventry, RI, two sisters Dorothy Logon of Southington, Betty Corliss of Burlington and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
