Obituary of Helen Spearen

OBITUARIES Helen M. Spearen, 90, of Ledgecrest Health Care Center, formerly of New Britain, died Tuesday Morning. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Dimitry) Martinchek, she was a life long resident an had been employed at Landers, Frary and Clark, retiring twenty six years ago. She had a happy disposition and was always smiling. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and love of bingo. She especially enjoyed visits with her great great nephews James, Jacob and Jeremy. Helen is survived by her sister, Lydia Rowe, her sister in law Sue Martinchek and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters and brothers Sophie Reducker, Mary Vargo, Mildred Lilienthal, Anna Friedrichs, Gus Martinchek, Al Martinchek and George Martinchek Funeral services will be held on Thursday 12:00 noon at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Wells St. New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday Morning from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Helen�s family would like to thank the staff of Ledgecrest for their care over the last nine years.
