PENNA: Rose (DiLorenzo) Penna, 82, widow of James J. Penna of Berlin, died Sunday, Oct. 8, 2006. Born in Woodhaven, N. Y., she had lived in Berlin most of her life and was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church, East Berlin. Prior to her retirement, she was employed for 20 years at L & J Dress Co., was president of R & J Associates, and a member of the Friday Night Club. She is survived by 2 sons, Michael J. Penna of Cromwell, James E. Penna of Lake Worth, FL., a sister Dolores Rudden of Smithtown, N.Y., 2 sisters-in-law, Kay Leneris of West Hartford and Katie Laria of New Britain, a very dear friend, Rick Lawrence, several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and one great-grand niece. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Millie DiLorenzo, Jenni Montuori, Celeste Mirachi, and her brother, Dominick DiLorenzo. Friends are invited to join the family for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held Friday, (Oct 13,) 10 :00 A.M., at Sacred Heart Church, Cottage St., in East Berlin. Entombment will follow in St. Mary�s Garden Mausoleum, New Britain. Friends may call at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square, New Britain on Thursday from 5 - 8 P.M.
