OBITUARIES
Jean (Howe) Cookley, 65, of Southington, died Monday at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Born in Meriden, the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth (Ives) Howe, she lived in Wallingford and many years in Southington. She was a member of St. Maurice Church in New Britain and the Shawl Group of the Church.
Mrs. Cookley, the loving wife of Peter Cookley, is also survived by two sons John and his wife Linda Cookley of Southington, Paul and his wife Colleen Cookley of Pembrooke Pines FL, her daughter Carol and her husband Don Tardif of Southington; five grandchildren Amanda Tardif, Christopher Cookley, Lisa Cookley, Laureen, Cookley and Liam Cookley; a sister Mary Gilpatrick of Colorado and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Alice Parmelee.
Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Mass Friday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Road New Britain. Burial will follow in South End Burying Ground, Southington. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Maurice Church. Jean�s family would like to extend a special thank you for the care they received from
