Obituary of William Ryan

William Ryan, 54, of East Hartford, died Friday, February 3rd, at his home. The son of Muriel (Paull) Banta of New Britain, he was a self-employed carpenter for many years and a friend of Bill W. In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by two sisters, Patricia Anderson of Madison, and Maureen Sullivan of New Britain; two nieces Kimberly Day Anderson and Erin Elizabeth Anderson. He was predeceased by his sister Catherine A. Sullivan. Visitation will be Friday, February 17, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain CT. Burial will be private. The Funeral Service will be held at 6:30 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army 615 Slaters Lane P.O. Box 269 Alexandria, VA 22313 or to a local chapter of the Salvation Army.
