OBITUARIES Ann S. (Swent) O�Donnell, 78, of New Britain, died early Sunday Morning at New Britain General Hospital. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Vincent W. and Ruth (Taggart) Swent, she was a life long resident. She had been employed for thirty five years in the Hartford Archdiocese School Office. For many years, Ann was very involved with St. Joseph�s Church and School in New Britain, having been in charge of the Lunch Program and the Bazaar. She is also a past president of St. Joseph�s School Mother�s Club. Ann is survived by her children Sheila O�Donnell of New Britain, Christine Malone of Southbridge, MA, Michael and his wife Sally O�Donnell of Vergennes, VT, and James and his wife Debra O�Donnell of Berlin; her grandchildren Charles Smith of Shelby, No. Carolina, Peter Smith of Amarillo, TX, Evelyn Smith of San Antonio, TX, Michele Malone and James Malone of Bristol, CT, Keith O�Donnell and April O�Donnell of Vergennes, VT, Michael O�Donnell and Liz O�Donnell of Berlin, CT; her brother William and his wife Patricia Swent of Berlin; her great grand children Keegan and Wylee Smith and Kimberly and Andrew Russett; a niece Jill Eshoo, and a nephew Glenn Swent. She was predeceased by two sons Kevin and Christopher O�Donnell. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph�s Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society 701 Russell Rd. Newington, CT 06111.
