Obituary of Harold J. Dunn

Harold (Hal) Dunn (89) of Enfield (formerly of New Britain) passed away peacefully in the loving embrace of his daughter (Patty Reardon) and son-in-law (Jim Reardon), and his beloved grandchildren (J.P., Tim, Andy, and Katie Reardon) on October 7, 2011. Hal was predeceased by his loving wife of over sixty years Mildred, their son Jimmy, and his brother Donald. Hal was the founder and co-owner of Dunn-Sherman Appliance in New Britain and later found work and friends at Lehrer's Hardware store. He was a longtime member of the Elks, the Knights of Columbus, and a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 14th at 11:30 A.M at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
