Obituary of Helen Bukowski

Helen T. (Konik) Bukowski, 90 of New Britain, wife of the late Edward "Red� Bukowski, passed away on April 1, 2006. Born August 23, 1915 in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Jozek and Emilia Konik. Prior to her retirement, she was employed at the YMCA, and was a communicant of St. Joseph�s Church. Mrs. Bukowski is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia Achilli, Barbara Bukowski, and Gerry and Gene Lemery all of Wethersfield, five grandchildren Kim Parisi, Kurt Parisi, Daneen and her husband Doug Grabe, Steven Achilli and Anthony Achilli; four great grandchildren Jason, Ashley, Nicole, and Derek; 3 sisters, Sophie Doubleday of Southington, Cecelia Pilewski of New Britain, and Reggie and her husband Jim Bowles of Beverly Hills, Florida; a brother Edward and his wife Marge Konik of Colorado Springs, Co., and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Florence Wallace of New Britain. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11:30 A.M., at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain.
