Obituary of Angela Shevchuk

OBITUARIES Angela M. (Dzeikan) Shevchuk, 89, widow of Victor P. Shevchuk of New Britain died Sunday (January 15, 2006) Born in New Britain, she was a lifelong resident and prior to her retirement, was employed in sales at various local retail shops. She was a generous volunteer for many civic organizations. She is survived by two brothers; John J. Dziekan of New Britain, Stanley Jackman of Salinas, CA. and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Helen Nizelski. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 9:00AM from the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square New Britain, CT going to St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Rd. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery New Britain. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to either: Jerome Home 975 Corbin Ave New Britain, or VNA of Central 205 West Main St New Britain.
