OBITUARIES Angeline (Passamano) Bonola, 85, of New Britain, died Monday at home after a long illness. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Frank and Josephine (Zimmitti) Passamano, she graduated from St. Mary�s School and New Britain High School. She had been a volunteer with the lunch program at the Gaffney School, where she was a member of the PTA; she was a past president of the DAV Auxillary and a member of the Italian Fraternal Society. Angeline was a loving mother, always caring for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her constant concern for their well being and her insistence of a good education has given her family a strong legacy. Her proudest moments were watching her children and grandchildren graduate from college. Her smile will be forever in our hearts. Mrs. Bonola is survived by her husband of fifty nine years, Mario Bonola, four daughters and a son Linda and her husband Dr. Dennis Gianoli of Farmington, Judith and her husband Ronald Bierlomyza of Kensington, Joanne and her husband Peter Ligas of East Hampton, Nancy and her husband Gary Barwikowski of Kensington and Dr. Joseph and his wife Kristen Bonola of Roanoke, TX; her grandchildren Elizabeth and her husband Kevin Anderson, Amy and her husband Dr. Mark Tousignant, Dr. Daniel Gianoli and his fianc� Cheri Loyd, Andrew Bierlomyza, Mathew and his wife Joanne Bielomyza,, Micah, Jacob, and Kaitlyn Bonola, Jessica and her husband Jeffrey Hess, Melissa Ligas and her fianc� Stephen Hurley, Nicholas Barwikowski and Alexander Barwikowski; two great grand children Alexis and Aidan Anderson; a sister Mary Welch of Seffner, FL, two brothers Salvatore Passamano, and Russell and his wife Marilyn Passamano of East North Port, RI, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Louis Passamano and a great grandson Matthew John Anderson, Funeral services will be held Thursday 8:30 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 A.M. at St. Ann�s Church North St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery New Britain. Visitation will be Wednesday form 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann�s Church 47 Clark St. New Britain, CT 06051 or to the Alzheimer�s Association Connecticut Chapter 279 New Britain Road P.O. Box 454 Kensington, CT 06037. The Bonola family would like to give a special thank you to the Hospice of Central CT, especially to Ruth LaSota, for her gentle and loving care.
