OBITUARIES Harold "Joel� Roy, 66, of New Britain, died Monday Morning at an area convalescent home. Born in Fort Kent Maine, he lived most of his life in New Britain and retired after forty five years at the Stanley Works. He served his country in the U.S. Marines and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Forestville. He is survived by three daughters Paulette and her husband Miguel Rivera of New Britain, Jacqueline Roy of Maine and Roberta Cheezum of New Britain, his god child Michael Roy of Norwalk, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, his brothers and sisters Richard and his wife Pauline Roy of Bristol, Clarance and wife Doris Roy of New Britain, Jackie and her husband Russel Roy of Plainville, Gladys Dufour of Bristol and Doris Pinette of Southington, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Rena Madore,and his children Diane M. Roy, John P. Roy and Phillip J. Roy. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 A.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
