OBITUARIES Kathleen (Saunders) Routhier, 85, formerly of Farmington, died Wednesday Night at New Britain General Hospital. Born in Farmington, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Atkinson) Saunders, she lived in New Britain, and Unionville and most of her life in Farmington. She had been employed for many years at the Aetna, and was a past president of the Aetna�s Women�s Club, she was past president of the St. Patrick�s Church Ladies Guild and was active with the R.S.V.P. Singers. Mrs. Routhier is survived by her husband Paul J. Routhier, her son Laurence Routhier of New Britain, her daughter Patricia Derech and her husband William Derech, Sr. of Wethersfield; her grandchildren Elizabeth and her husband Paul Thompson of Wethersfield, William Derech, Jr; two great grandchildren Olivia Thompson and Ian Thompson; her sister Mary Margaret Negri of New Britain and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters and a brother Mary Grace Saunders, Margaret Callahan and Rev. Robert E. Saunders. Funeral services will be held Saturday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Road New Britain. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery New Britain. Visitation will be today from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Plainville Health Care Activities Department 269 Farmington Ave Plainville, CT 06062 or to a charity of the donor�s choice. Kathleen�s family would like to thank the staff of the Plainville Health Care for their professional and compassionate care while she was a resident there. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
