Obituary of Maryann Gordon

OBITUARIES Maryann T. (Savickas) Gordon, 70, of New Britain, died Monday Night at New Britain General Hospital. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Alben and Agnes (Hlavati) Savikas, she lived in New Britain all of her life. An avid painter, Maryann had a love for the arts and was a volunteer at the New Britain Museum of Art and the Wadsworth Athenaeum. She was also a member of St. Joseph�s Church. Maryann is survived by her children Frederick Gordon III and his wife Judy of Hartford, Daniel Gordon and his wife Lori of Oxford, Donna and her husband Steve Boris of Lutz FL, Ellen and her husband Ted Rudzis of East Hartford; two grandchildren Ashley Elizabeth Gordon and her mother Denise Gordon of West Hartford, Mary Agnes Rudzis; two step grandchildren Paris Miller and Hayley Miller. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph�s Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Britain Museum of American Art 56 Lexington St. New Britain, CT 06052. The Farrell Funeral Home New Britain is in charge of arrangements.
