MADELINE (GILBERT) MARKAVICH Madeline (Gilbert) Markavich, age 84, peacefully passed away early Saturday Morning. She was the widow of Adolph Markavich. Born in New Hartford, she lived most of her life in New Britain. She was the daughter of the late Orrin and Gertrude (Sage) Gilbert. She was employed by The Stanley Works for 25 years, was and parishioner of St. Joseph�s Church, New Britain. Madeline was a loving mother who leaves behind a daughter, Madeline Sullivan and her husband Timothy of Berlin, and a son William Markavich and his wife Denise of Plantsville, and a sister Gertrude Schultz of Middletown, and 8 grandchildren: Susan LaVallee and her husband Joseph of Kensington, Daniel Sullivan and his wife Jenny of Manchester, Timothy Sullivan and his wife Kerry of Southington, William Markavich and his wife Kathy of Maine, Aaron and Derick Markavich, Daniele and David Schmidt of Plantsville. She also leaves 8 Great-grandchildren: Melissa and Joseph LaVallee of Kensington, Daniel, Nathan and Benett Sullivan of Manchester, Coby and Kylie Sullivan of Southington, and Kaylee Marckavich of Plantsville, and many, many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers, Howard and Warren Gilbert, and a sister, Myrtle Autunno. Funeral services will be held Monday with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph�s Church 195 So. Main St. at 12:00 Noon. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq.
