OBITUARIES Leona R. Daigle, 90, formerly of New Britain, died Saturday at an area convalescent home. Born in Upper Frenchville, Maine, the daughter of the late Dennis and Celina (Dubois) Roy, she came to Connecticut in 1957 and had been a resident of New Britain from 1962 to 1982 when she moved to Brood Brook and later moved to Ellington to live with her daughter. There she was a member of St. Catherine�s Church. She was the wife of the late Lawrence Daigle. She was a member of St. Peter Church and the Ladies Guild of St. Peter Church of New Britain. Mrs. Daigle is survived by two sons Donald Daigle of Burlington, and Ronald Daigle of Wilton, New Hampshire; six daughters Pauline Breen of Manchester, Jacqueline Saucier of Enfield, Kathleen Ouellette of East Windsor, Bernice Thiereault of Southington, Marie Sirois of Ellington and Jeannie Bernier of Southwick, MA; three sisters Jeannette Breard of Waterville, ME, Madeline Veilleux of East Windsor, Antoinnette White of Scarborough, ME; a brother Rauol Roy of Bristol; 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters Sadie Ouellette and Annette Roy. And two brothers. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter Church 98 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative P.O. Box 566 New Britain, CT 06052.
