OBITUARIES Daniel F. Donnelly, 80, of Farmington, formerly of New Britain, died Saturday Morning at New Britain General Hospital. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Daniel F. and Mary (Quinn) Donnelly, he lived most of his life in New Britain, moving to Farmington in early 2004. He was employed for many years by the State of Connecticut in the Department of Revenue as an examiner, retiring in 1987. He was an active member of St. Maurice Church, where he served as a volunteer for many years. Dan is survived by his wife Agnes (Apostalon) Donnelly, his son James F. and his wife Lois Donnelly of Farmington, a grandson Scott Donnelly, a granddaughter Kristen Donnelly; two sisters Gertrude Donnelly, and Ann Donnelly, both of New Britain, a brother in law Col. Daniel G. and his wife Cynthia Apostalon of Albuquerque, New Mexico, a sister in law Florence and her husband Rees Davis of Colorado and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Road New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to VNA of Central CT Inc. 205 West Main Street New Britain, CT 06052-1318.
