Obituary of Mario Marieni

OBITUARIES Mario Marieni, 85, of New Britain, died Friday at an area convalescent home. Born in New Britain and a life long resident, he was employed for many years at New Britain Machine. He was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army and was a 50 year member of the Italian Fraternal Society. Mr. Marieni is survived by his wife Audrey (Field) Marieni, his daughter Nancy Marieni, two sons Richard Marieni and Carl Marieni all of New Britain, two brothers Joseph and his wife Josephine Marieni of New Britain, Gino and his wife Olga Marieni of Granby, a sister in law Dorothy Field of New Britain and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph�s Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain with Military Honors. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
