Mary "Bobbi" (Misteri) Soucy, died Wednesday (Nov. 24,2004). Born in Berlin, the daughter of the late Oreste and Edith (Carmella) Misteri, she lived in Berlin and New Britain moving to Bristol in 1982. She worked for many years at the Southern New England Telephone Co in New Britain and Bristol. She was the first women from Berlin who served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Mrs.Soucy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother
to her loving husband of forty five years Leonard Soucy, her cherished daughter Margo Wright of Berlin, her grandsons Michael Malley and Edward and his wife Tracy Malley, a greatgrandson Michael Malley, Jr. ; She is also survived by a brother Harry Misteri of Berlin, a sister Theresa Misteri of Berlin, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Steve Misteri, two sisters Floa Misteri and Mildred Bulutti.
Funeral services will be held Monday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Church Kensington. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery,
New Britain. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
