OBITUARIES Elizabeth J. "Betty� Barrows, 64, of New Britain, died Sunday at New Britain General Hospital. Born in New Britain, the daughter of Florence (Rivers) Barrows and the late Robert Barrows, she was a life long resident and was employed for many years for the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation retiring nine years ago. In addition to her mother, Betty is survived by a sister Florence and her husband Mark Cegielski of Southington, two brothers David J. and his wife Judy Barrows of New Britain, Robert Barrows of New Britain; an aunt Theresa Rivers, an uncle Richard and his wife Norberta Barrows all of New Britain, her beloved nieces and nephews David Barrows, Deborah Plumb, Robert Barrows, Bridget Cooper, Sarah Hayden, India Barrows, Amy Collin, Carl, Matt and Dan Cegielski and twelve grand nieces and grand nephews and several cousins. Betty will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. Visitation and funeral services will be held Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Donald Barrows Memorial Scholarship at New Britain High School 110 Mill St. New Britain, CT 06051 or to the Salvation Army 78 Franklin Sq.
