OBITUARIES Eugene S. Marquis II, 49, of Bristol, died suddenly Friday and has been called home to his savior. A devoted husband and father he was the husband of Debra Anne (Boissonault) Marquis. Along with his partners, James Croteau and Manny Misenti he owned and operated the Commercial Electrical Contractors Inc. in Middletown. Gene was an active and devoted member of the Hillside Community Church in Bristol. He was involved with the Church Missions having traveled to Mexico twice with the church. He was involved with the Men�s Ministry and a Home Group Leader of the Church. He was also a well known avid fisherman. In addition to his wife Debra, Gene leaves his daughters Danielle Marquis and Melissa Marquis of Bristol; his parents Eugene and Lucille (Clavette) Marquis of Old Orchard Beach, ME, two sisters Maryann and her husband Doug Griffin and their children Jennifer and Scott of Brentwood Tenn, Diane and her husband Peter Wilcox and their children Adam and Jake of Avon; her brother Richard Marquis of Seymour and several aunts, uncle and cousins. A Memorial service will be held Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hillside Community Church 18 Academy Street Bristol, CT 06010. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
