Obituary of Helen Thomas

OBITUARIES Helen (Tysko) Thomas, 92, of New Britain, died Saturday at the Andrew House Health Care . Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Wlawadislau and Eleanor (Kozikowski) Tysko, she was a life long resident and member of St. Peter Church. She had been employed as a supervisor at Emhart Corp. for forty eight years. Her husband Vincent A. "Corky� Thomas died May 26, 2000. Mrs. Thomas is survived by several nieces and nephews including Maryann Klatka and Eleanor Gould both of Farmington; her sister in law Teresa Thomas of Wilkes-Barre, PA and several grand nieces and grand nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Peter Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be Tuesday from 9:15 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Church 98 Franklin Sq. New Britain, CT 06051.
