Obituary of Lee D. Cyr

OBITUARIES Lee D. Cyr, 86, of New Britain died Monday night at an area convalescent home. Born in Madawaska, Me, he moved to New Britain in 1950 and worked for Fafnir Bearing Co. for thirty years retiring in 1981. He was a member of St. Joseph�s Church. Mr. Cyr is survived by his wife Geraldine (Dionne) Cyr, his daughter Ann and her husband Richard Albert of Newington, two granddaughters Michele Ponte and Denise Giangreco; a great grandson Sam Giangreco; a brother Aldrie Cyr of Madawaska ME, a sister Lena Guerrette of Fern Park, FL and several nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by seven brothers Donat Cyr, Oneil Cyr, Romeo Cyr, Willard Cyr, Ned Cyr, Arthur Cyr, Jerry Cyr, and a sister Rena Cyr. Funeral services will be held Friday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph�s Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
