Obituary of Cynthia Simone

Cynthia (Pucci) Simone, 66, of Berlin, died Monday (Sept. 1, 2014) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the daughter of Elvina (Lucarelli) Pucci and the late George L. Pucci, she lived in New Britain and Berlin all of her life. Cyndi was the wife of the late Tony Simone, who died March 10, 2012. She retired from T J. Max, after several years. In addition to her mother, Cyndi is survived by two sons Douglas Simone of Berlin and Andrew Simone and his fiance' Kim Smith of Sebastian, FL, two sisters Loretta and her husband Richard DiPietro of Sebastian, FL and Georgia and her husband James Kelly of Berlin; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (Sept. 3, 2014) at 11:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
