Obituary of Agnes S. Rudy

Agnes S. (Swift) Rudy, 89, of New Britain, died Sunday (June 22, 2014) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Harold and Ellen (McKeon) Swift, she was the wife of the late Walter Rudy. As a dietary aide, she worked many years at the New Britain General Hospital (now Hospital of Central Connectict). Mrs. Rudy is survived by three children, John and his wife Diane Rudy of Kensington, Patty and Rich DelBiondo of Kensington and Barbara and her husband Dan Bukowski of New Britain; two grandchildren Jen and her husband Billy Nowitzke and Jack Rudy and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Donations may be made to the Hospital of Central Connecticut, Dialysis Unit, 100 Grand St. New Britain, CT, 06050.
