Obituary of Regina Lagasse

Regina D. Lagasse, 81, of New Britain, died Sunday (May 4, 2014) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in Frenchville, ME, the daughter of the late George and Laura (Raymond) Dumais, she was a New Britain resident for over 60 years. She was employed as a nurse's assistant for over twenty years at The Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. A member of St. Joseph's Church, she was also a member of the St. Ann's Society of St. Peter Church and the St. Jean the Baptist Society Auxiliary. Mrs. Lagasse is survived by her children Gary Lagasse of Plainville, Linda and her husband Michael Morin of Southington and Diane Reneault of Southington; two grand children Michael Morin and Christine Morin of Southington; a sister Anita Bourgoin; three brothers Gerard Dumais, Romeo Dumais and Roland Dumais and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin sq. New Britain.
