Ruth Huber Dery, 94 passed away on Saturday January 18, 2014. The loving wife of the late LeRoy Dery for 57 years, she was born in New Britain, to the late Ellen and Louis Huber on December 7, 1919 and graduated from New Britain High School. She lived in New Britain most of her life, moving to Berlin and then Granby in her later years. She worked in secretarial positions at D & L Advertising, Nathan Hale Junior High and Mooreland Hill School. Besides her parents and husband, Ruth was predeceased by her daughter, Eleanor Lemanski, her sister, Eleanor Carlson, and her brothers, Louis, Joseph, LeRoy and Harold Huber. She leaves to mourn her passing son LeRoy Dery and his wife Theresa, daughter Marge Dery, son-in-law Joseph Lemanski, grandsons Paul Dery, David Lemanski and his wife Molly, and Mark Lemanski, granddaughters Jennifer Granato and husband Aaron and Jessica Santangelo, great - granddaughters, McKenzie and Haylee Granato , and many special relatives and friends. Many thanks to the MeadowBrook of Granby Staff for their compassionate care of Ruth and their comfort and support of the family. Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:00 AM from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Jerome Church 1010 Slater Road New Britain. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery's Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Connecticut Humane Society, the American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice are encouraged.
