Obituary of Catherine Lattarulo

Catherine (Castellani) Lattarulo, 96, of New Britain, died Friday Morning Jan. 3, 2013 at an area convalescent home. Born in Amherst, MA, the daughter of the late Luigi and Libera (Aloisi) Castellani, she lived most of her life in New Britain. During her career, she was employed as a nurse's aide at the Newington Children's Hospital and she was well known as an avid bingo player. Mrs. Lattarulo is survived by her daughter Ann Johnson of New Britain; her son Louis Lattarulo and his wife Nancy, of Terryville; son in law Robert Girolomoni; grandchildren David and his wife Maria Johnson, Susan Buckwell, Lynn Aivaz, Katie Lattarulo and Carli and her husband Michael Willard; great grandchildren Lindsay and James Buckwell, and David and Jason Johnson, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter Joanne Girolomoni, her son Vito Lattarulo and son in law Carlton Johnson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
