Obituary of Ida Bianchi

Ida J. Bianchi, 73. of New Britain, died on the 7th of September. Born in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia, the daughter of Rudolph Bianchi and the late Eleanor (Ryder) Bianchi, she lived in New Britain for most of her life. She was employed at Polumbo's Jewelers in New Britain for many years and was a member of the Italian Fraternal Society. Ida is survived by her daughter Christine and her husband Steve Beaton of Bristol and also daughters Eleanor and Jacklyn .Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren .As well as Michelle,Marilyn,Kathy and Jamie whom she considered like daughters to her. And also is survived by her Best Friend of 53 years Gloria Bruce and her husband Edward Bruce of Southington,Ct. The family would like to send their gratitude to Komanetsky Estates of Bristol, Ct, for the assistance provided to Ida for the years she lived there.They would also like to thank the staff of Apple Rehab Farmington Valley and the nurses of Vitas Hospice for the care and support provided to Ida and the family in her final days. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
