I am heartbroken at the passing of Laura. We met at Griswold School in the mid 1990’s and became fast friends. We attended each other’s children’s bridal showers, weddings, baby showers and rejoiced at the births of our grandchildren. We exchanged vacation stories over coffee at Dunkin or during lunches after we retired. It was evident Laura loved her family fiercely and it always brought a smile to her face when she spoke of them. I will miss you but will remember you with fondness. Rest in eternal peace my friend.
My sincere condolences to Bill and the entire Kohl family
Love to you all,
Phyllis Campanario

We enjoyed traveling with Bill and Laura to Ireland and always looked forward to their visits to Florida and Maine. A favorite memory is when after a night out we came back to our house. My wife Linda and Laura would look at each other and simultaneously say “Jammie time”. “Jammie time” meant charging into comfortable clothes and relaxing with a nightcap.
Conversations with Laura centered around her family especially her grandchildren. Bill and Laura spent quality time traveling and observing their grandchildren’s sporting and school activities.
At the end of her life Laura may not have known us but we will always remember her. Rest in peace our dear friend. It’s “Jammie time”. Love Andy & Linda Bartlewski

To the Kohl Family,
My deepest condolences to you and your family. Laura was a wonderful person who touched all with her love and kindness. I graduated with Laura many years ago and I was fortunate to see her in the last several years at Shuttle Meadow- She was as sweet and welcoming as she was in high school- I swear she didn't age a bit!!
Your sorrow is shared by everyone who knew and loved Laura. May the memories you shared with her be a blessing in the difficult days ahead.
Sincerely,
Christine (Malachowski) Bruemmer-

I was her brother-in-law for 50 years. Always fun to be around. I virtually never saw her without a smile on her face. Always impeccably dressed and . I should know since I was married to Bill’s sister for 35 years who adhered to the same code. With Bill, her legacy is raising 3 wonderful girls who have gone on to succeed in their right. Raise a happy hour glass with Peggy in your new home. The rest of us are on our way. Terry McGuire

Bill I remember this dress in this photo from Candlelight. We wore the same exact dress and although I was 25 years younger, she wore is WAY BETTER than I did!! We laughed about our coincidence and our good taste! She was always so smiley and happy. I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in all the years of fond memories.

Bill, I first remember meeting Laura in the 70’s, as Marlene and Tommy’s friend. A few decades later, I was lucky enough to know her as a cherished co-worker at Griswold School. Her kindness and warm smile was welcoming to staff, parents, and students alike, and I loved working with her. Laura was a bright light, and she will be missed. Sending love and prayers to you and your family.
