Obituary of Catherine L. Osden

Catherine L. Osden, 71, of New Britain, passed away peacefully on Friday (June 28, 2024). Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Dominic and Mary (LaSorsa) Lattarulo, she lived in New Britain and Southington most of her life.  She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Osden, who died in 2015. During her career she was employed as a secretary at the Veteran’s Hospital in Newington. During her free time, she enjoyed traveling to Aruba, Matunuck Beach in Rhode Island and taking cruises.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Sheri  (Messina)  and her husband, Richard Pudelka; a grandson Tyler Pudelka; three sisters Ann Rudolewicz, Diane and her husband Bob Tufano, Lynn Lattarulo, a brother Steve and his wife, Val Lattarulo  and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 8:30 – 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM on Wednesday (July 3rd) at St. Joseph Church, 195 South Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, 32 Collins Rd. Collinsville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hartford Camp Courant 96 Batterson Park Rd, Farmington, CT 06032 or to the Alzheimer’s  Association 200  Executive Blvd. S 4B, Southington , CT 06489.
