Sheila Bennett Obituary

Sheila (Skoglas) Bennett, 69, of Titusville, FL, died Monday, March 11, 2024, in Florida. Born November 29, 1954 in Connecticut she lived in the Hazardville area of Enfield. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Balsewicz) Skoglas.  During her lifetime, she resided in Southwick, Westfield and Chicopee, MA,  with  the last four years  in Titusville, FL.  After graduation,  Sheila was employed as a Medical Administrative Assistant, a Home Health Care Worker and most importantly, she was a Foster Mother.


Sheila is survived by four children, Danial Bennett and his wife Liz, Jordan Bennett and his wife, Nicole,  AbbyRae Bennett and her fiancé Mark Mojica, and Jamie Caron.  She has three grandchildren, Madison Bennett, Rory Bennett and Kaleb Berreli, a nephew Vincent Sica, a niece Nadine Holmes and her sons, Travis, Brandon and Evan, along with several cousins. Sheila is also survived by her  brother Scott Skoglas and her sister Brenda Campagnano and her husband Lawrence.


The family would like to thank Sheila’s lifelong friend, Nancy Flagg and her husband Jack Gatewood, and her dear friend (Nanny) Joyce Paroline, along with Dialysis Nurse Jackie Torres of DaVita North Brevard Dialysis in Titusville, FL, who befriended Sheila and went well above and beyond the call of duty


Funeral services will be private. Burial will be with her family in Hazardville, CT.
