Obituary of Brent W. Casner

Brent W. Casner, 33, of Berlin, passed away Feb. 29, 2024. Born in New Britain, he was the son of William Casner and the late Dorotha (Porth) Casner.

He graduated from Berlin High School in 2008 and then studied at the University of Rhode Island and at Tunxis Community College. He also received his Barbers License and was pursuing that as a career.

Brent was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing golf with his best friend, Keven Josephson. Next to playing golf, he enjoyed the NBA, NFL, NHL, and the PGA Tour.

In addition to his father, Brent is survived by his brother Michael Casner, his grandmother Gloria Casner, aunt Kathryn Casner, aunt Ann Aresco, aunt Susan Porth and Uncle Charles Pearson in Warwick,  RI.   His grandfather, Robert Casner, passed away in 2010.

Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday (April 6, 2024) at 10:30 AM at St. Maurice Church 100 Wighman Road New Britain. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at the Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingston, RI.
