Obituary of Faye K. Rossetti
Faye K. Rossetti, 91, of Naples Florida and Old Saybrook CT passed away peacefully Friday March 1. She was a graduate of Simsbury High School, Hartford Hospital LPN School, and took courses at Greater Hartford Community College towards an Associate degree. She worked at Bolleswood Convalescent Home, Hartford Hospital, Sears and G Fox and Co.
After raising her children she became active in The Red Hats Society, The Old Saybrook Women’s Club, The Christian Club and volunteered at St John’s Church. In her spare time she enjoyed golfing, reading, writing stories, doing crossword puzzles and driving residents from a local nursing home to church then hosting them for a pasta lunch.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws; Maria and Floyd Miller, Debra and James O’Donnell, three grand children and their spouses; Michael and Heather O’Donnell, Elizabeth and Ryan Hoff, Hao and Victor Marroquin, and three great grandchildren. Faye was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Michael.
A private ceremony will be held at Mount St Benedict’s Cemetery.
