Natalie Rak Obituary

Natalie (Stachowicz) Rak, formerly of New Britain, died Thursday (Jan.18, 2024) in Florida. Born in Poland, she lived in England and came to New Britain in 1956. She was the wife of the late Henryk Rak. A longtime bowling enthusiast, she worked at the Health Center Lanes in New Britain and Bowl O’Rama  in Newington and was a long time parishioner of Holy Cross Church.


Mrs. Rak is survived by her daughter Izabela Rak, four sons, Leonard and his wife, Darlene Rak, Andrew and his wife, Regina Rak, Henry and his wife, Mary Rak and Robert and his wife, Julia Rak.  She also has a brother Frank Stachowicz and his children and grandchildren, who live in England. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers and sister.


Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday (Feb. 1, 2024) at 10:00 AM at Holy Cross Church 31 Biruta St. New Britain. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VFW 41 Veteran’s Drive New Britain, CT 06051.
