James Geremia of Berlin, CT, passed away at 60 years young in his home on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023.

James was the son of Lorenzo Geremia of Berlin, CT and the late Priscilla (Greene). James was born and raised in New Britain, CT, along with his sister, the late Phyllis Dinda (Geremia) and brother, Larry Geremia. As well as with his very large, and supportive extended family; including all his amazing cousins that were more like sisters and brothers to him.

James was passionate about his career as a Mason. He accompanied his career skills with his unique artistic capabilities, crafting beautiful pieces of stone work throughout Connecticut and some of the neighboring states. James always had an amazing artistic ability, sketching many drawings of family and friends and even some beautiful sculptures. James was well known for his comedic natures. Always cracking jokes and getting a laugh anyway he could. He was a soft and loving man who loved to be surrounded by family and friends. He was always the life of the party. The laughter he brought will certainly be missed the most. He was the type of guy who would leave you in pain from the laughter he ensued.

In passing, James is survived by his father, Lorenzo (Gerry) Geremia, his brother Larry Geremia. His brother in law, James Dinda. His nephew, James Dinda. His nieces, Jaclyn (Ken) Kostak and Catherine (Sean) Kinne. As well as his great nieces and nephews; Sophia, Jacob, Elizabeth, Olivia, Trevor, and Mckenna.

James’ infectious personality will be missed by all that were lucky enough to be either his family or friends. A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2024. The family will notify once the date is confirmed.
