Q: How did you meet Dorothy Ann? A: I worked with her at City Hall in New Britain, I am so sadden to hear that she left this earth my condolences to the family. Her memory will live on with me she will never be forgotten. I have many memories of her. When my children were young we would go trick and treat on Halloween, she would have hot chocolate ready for us every year.

I heard so much about Gram during my time with Ms. Smolka (granddaughter Lindsay). It was clear to me and all of her students how much of an impact Gram made on her, and in turn everyone around her. She definitely passed this trait down to her granddaughter! All my love and condolences to her family and friends.

Dear Alan, Dawn, Shari and Lori I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your mother and family like it was yesterday. The picture of your mother is beautiful, she looks the same as I remember her, especially the smile. While visiting Connecticut one time I saw her a Lord and Taylor. It was so good to see her, and as you wrote always well dressed. I think of your family and others in our neighborhood with fond memories. Dottie was one of a kind and quite a force of nature. We worked together at City Welfare and became great friends for the rest of her life. She was one of the most upbeat people I have ever known. I always loved her four kids and hearing about all of their lives. Dottie will be greatly missed by her large family and many friend. Judy Willis
