Obituary of Marie May Raboin

Marie May (Cyr) Raboin, 87, formerly of New Britain, died Sunday (Feb. 5, 2023) at Ingraham Manor in Bristol. Born in St. Agatha, ME, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Rose (Sirois) Cyr, she lived most of her life in New Britain, moving to Bristol eight years ago. She was employed for over 30 years at North & Judd Manufacturing Co. and was a member of St. Jean Baptist Society and The French Model Club.

Marie is survived her children, Theresa Cyr, Claire McFetridge, Patricia Raboin, Patrick Raboin, and his wife Joy, Jeannette Tellier, Robert Raboin, Paul Raboin, and his wife Judy; her grandchildren John, Joyel, Jessica, Brianne, Ashley, Nicole, Jeremy, Christian and Cassandra; her siblings, Claire Martin, Jeanine Martin, Wilma Thereault and Richard Cyr; and several nieces and nephew. She was predeceased by her son Ronald Raboin.

Funeral services will be held Friday (Feb. 10, 2023) 9:30 AM from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Church 544 Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Connecticut Children’s Hospital 282 Washington St. Hartford, CT 06106.
