Pearl was my cousin, daughter of my uncles emigrated from Alanno (Italy) in the U.S. many years ago. Unfortunately, I have met only once Pearl in Italy and I have not had the chance to know her better. Pearl represented, however, an important part of my roots and my past. I just learned of Mrs. Tricarico's passing. She was a great neighbor to my very Italian parents and family. She followed every milestone I reached. She attended all my concerts, recitals, and graduation parties. She would clip the newspaper announcement every time I made the honor roll and put it in our mailbox for my proud parents to see. She and Mr. Tricarico even traveled to New Jersey for my senior voice recital. My family and I will miss her. Our prayers are with your family.

Pearl was my parent's neighbor and friend since 1970. She always was kind to them and me and my sister. My thoughts are with Peter and his ineices and nephews.
