Roberta Rae (Kimball) Hould, 79, of New Britain, died Tuesday (Sept. 27, 2022) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain, after battling a long time illness. Born in Portland, ME, the daughter of the late Bert and Mary (Gillis) Kimball, she lived in New Britain for many years. She is the wife of the late Leonard A. Hould, who died April 24, 2016. She was employed for 33 years at the American Radio Relay League. One of her favorite hobbies was to eat out, as everyone knew she did not like to cook. She also enjoyed shopping. Mrs. Hould is survived by four daughters Mary Venise Fusco, Victoria and her husband, Alfred Messenger, Sandra and her husband, Arthur Bartley, and Diane and her husband, Raymond DiPinto; 13 grandchildren, Gary, Jonathan, Shawn, Johnny, Danielle, Jason, Ryan, Tessa, A.J., Venise, Stephanie, Joey, and Taylor, and great grandchildren, Alexis, Tatiana, Avaya, Leane, Michael, Chase, Anthony, Amareya, Madison, Analise, Ian, Elliot, Lennox, Nathan, Jaxon, Levi, Addalena, Eliana, Braxton, Cali. She is also survived by her siblings, Jerralyn Cadigan, William Kimball and his wife Keri, Debra and her husband John Sanders, Skip Ridley and his wife Judy and Sis Martel, and her best friend, Ruth Doucette. She was predeceased by a granddaughter Nina, two great grandsons Damien and Alexander Jr., and a brother Bruce Kimball. Funeral services will be held Friday (Sept. 30, 2022) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Divine Providence Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
