Lorraine M. (Martin) Morin, 90, died Sunday (July 24, 2022) at the Hospital of Central CT. Born in Frenchville, ME, the daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Chasse) Martin, she lived most of her life in New Britain and Newington. She was the widow of Paul Morin, who died Nov. 30, 2017. She had been employed at Stanley Works for many years and was a parishioner of Holy Spirit Church in Newington. Mrs. Morin is survived by her son Michael and his wife Linda of Southington, a grandson Michael and his wife Nicole of Plainville and a granddaughter Christine and her husband Mark of Plantsville; two adorable great-granddaughters, Ella and Rylie, whom she cherished very much, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Paula and a son, Adam; and her siblings, Priscilla, Tom, Gerald, and Frank. Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Saturday (July 30th) from 9:30 – 11:00AM with a Prayer Service at 11:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery New Britain.
