Miguel A. Gonzalez, 84, of Hartford passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, he moved to the United States in his early twenties. He was the son of the late Jose Gonzalez Marti and Marcelina Sanches Rosado. Miguel had a long career in manufacturing for over 30 years as a machinist with Har Conn and Capwell in Hartford. After his retirement he devoted his time to his hobbies, wife and family. He was a very passionate and determined man. Above all, he adored his wife Milagros whom which they shared 55 years together and would often share stories of how they met and married. Besides his wife Milagros, Miguel is survived by his children Mike Gonzalez, Maggie Gonzalez, Wilson Gonzalez, Elva Gonzalez, Angel Gonzalez, Milly Gonzales along with grandchildren. Funeral services for Miguel will be held Monday (Feb 21) with a visitation from 10:00 – 11:00AM followed by a Prayer Service at 11:00 with Father Israel Rivera at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairview Ave, Hartford.
