Obituary of Timothy R. Cote

***UPDATED SERVICE INFO*** Timothy Roland Cote, 65, of New Britain, CT., passed away on Sunday, January 2 at The Hospital of Central CT. He was born on January 24, 1956 in New Britain to the late Amedee and Mary Cote (Harkins). He was affectionately known as Tim or Uncle Tim to his family and friends. Tim attended local schools in New Britain and held various jobs in the area. As a child, he loved the water and often was the first to dive in the ocean. A kind and gentle soul with a great sense of humor, Tim had a strong faith in God and the power of prayer. When someone was in need, Tim came to the rescue with his thoughtful prayers and miraculously life would be better. Tim was predeceased by his wife and best friend, Ann Marie Cote who passed away in 2020. Tim leaves his brother, Joseph Cote and his wife, Cathy; his sister, Marianne Kupiec and her husband, Daniel; two nieces- Danielle Kupiec and Sarah Mangiafico (Enrico); two nephews-James Kupiec(Karen) and Ryan Cote. He is also survived by a great niece, Kadee Nowicky and two great nephews, Enzo Mangiafico and Sean Nowicky. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday (June 17) at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 195 South Main Street, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery 1141, Stanley St. New Britain. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Divine Providence Parish c/o St. Francis Catholic 1010 Slater Rd.
