So sad to hear of the passing of my great friend Joeyeagle5. Since meeting playing online golf over three years ago, not a day passed where we didn't share jokes or stories together across the miles. Joey was like the brother I never had and I'm sure he has left a massive void in the life of those who were blessed by his presence and infectious humour. Broken hearted can’t begin to define the depth of grief. Joey was a special guy, more than just a cousin. When we were young he was my “ride or die.” I had the Barbie doll he had GI Joe. I watched their little league games (the twins) with such adoration. They were the Balowski twins! It’s just too surreal to believe I will not see Joey again. But I am grateful to God that He orchestrated the crazy wonderful family I grew up with and the memories that are etched in my heart forever. I love you, Joey. I will always say your name and keep your memory alive. Love, Chris

McCabe Waters Little league (1970) Yankees vs. Mets (great team)--I remember standing in the batters box early in the game and looking out at the mound-facing Dave Balowski-he threw a pitch and BAM I went down (HBP)--that hurt! Later in the game, in came lefty brother Joe another hard thrower-my knees were shaking but I was determined to get a hit. Then BAM I went down again (HBP). That also hurt! Those two brothers were the reason I went on to become a pitcher (at 12 years old I was now scared to death of hitting) therefore I pitch. I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a great friend of mine in high school. We had many great times together. Lost track of him as we grew older but I learned that he had a son who was quite a baseball player. My thoughts go out to Joe and his loved ones. I await our rematch on the great baseball diamond in heaven. I will see you there brother Joe. Love you and thanks for all the memories. Tommy Burns

My mother had four sisters, and one brother, with that I had eight first cousins, Joey, being one of them. We spent every holiday, birthday, and weekend together and the memories will never be forgotten. The world may have changed for all of us, but I always believe that our bond is forever. Rest In Peace Joey, we will see each other again.
